As part of their evolution as a business, LandSec’s new offices have undergone a major refurb to transform the workspace into an open and communicative space where teams are more integrated and agile working practices are adopted. As part of this renovation, multimedia screens and videowalls have been installed all over the building, with a view to maximising internal and external communications. Digital signage specialists onemedia were appointed by LandSec to make this vison a reality through the implementation of a custom-built content strategy.
More than 30 ONELAN digital signage players along with video walls and HD screens, (including the first ever Samsung 1.5mm LED screen) have been installed in order to maximise communications within the business and reflect the people focused values embraced by the corporation. onemedia have been an integral part of this initiative, offering LandSec a fully managed service, meeting all of their requirements head on with a fresh, tailored content strategy and ongoing support.
As part of the strategy, all of the content played out on the screens throughout the day is maintained through an intelligent ONELAN content management system. Onemedia collaborated with AV specialists Viju, to successfully integrate the ‘Crestron’ and signage network, enabling the end user to trigger overrides, such as emergency messages and breaking news, from a single button touch. By incorporating this command function, the experience for the customer becomes dynamic and user friendly.
The impressive LED screen Installed in the reception area of their Victoria based HQ, creates an exceptional visual experience for both staff and visitors. This feature plays bespoke, dynamic content throughout the day such as welcome messages, property portfolio reels, corporate videos and live weather updates. As part of the content strategy, onemedia have also created and implemented bespoke applications such as a real time Yammer feed and LandSec specific stock updates.
LandSec’s newly refurbished office has it’s very own Support bar which staff members can visit throughout the day for IT and building services assistance. As part of this extended service, numerous training seminars are on offer, with a view to broadening the skill sets of employees. The new onemedia live timetabling digital signage feature, ‘What’s on’ has been integrated with the HD screens situated here, to communicate a schedule of these events. This content updates in real time, meaning that any event which occurred in the past is automatically removed and the next one is moved up, improving communication lines and eradicating any complex content management.
